Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field. CPA preferred. 5+ years related experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees in the Corporate Accounting Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Consult with CFO and Corporate Trainer regarding the design, implementation (training) and monitoring of appropriate accounting procedures, practices and policies so that all financial transactions of the company are properly reflected in the records and assets safeguarded.
2. Oversee daily activities involving all areas of general and financial accounting including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Purchasing Fixed Assets, Stock, etc.
3. Directs and supervises consolidation of accounting data and preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial reports and various management reports as needed.
4. Responsible for planning and preparing company records for annual end-of-year audit.
5. Supervise periodic audits of Inventory and Accounts Payable.
6. Assist CFO in preparing recommendations on future financial plans and forecasts and with monitoring current financial achievements compared to budgeted goals.
7. Responsible for orienting/training new employees with regard to Accounting and Financial policies and procedures.
8. Analyze department workflow and employee job duties to recommend reorganization or departmental realignment within the company.

Education/Experience Requirement: High School Diploma or GED. Agriculture knowledge and a basic understanding of refined fuels and propane preferred. Routes sales, delivery and customer service experience are also a plus.

Job Requirements :
